IT IS GLARINGLY OBVIOUS THAT THIS SEASON IS THE BEST IN THE NEW SERIES, THERE HAVE BEEN NO WEAK EPISODES, AND THAT ELEVEN IS FIFTY TIMES MORE SUBTLE THAN THAT SUGARED-UP TWO YEAR OLD SOCIOPATH IN THE SUIT, AND THAT AMY IS AWESOME LIKE HOTDOGS (NOT TO MENTION RORY) SO STOP FUCKING SAYING THAT KAREN GILLAM CAN'T ACT (OR THAT MATT SMITH IS OVER THE TOP? WTHHHHH?) OR THAT THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE EMOTION OR GGGGAAAAAAAH WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU FUCKING IIIIIIDIIIIIIIOOOTS. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.

You know, it probably just comes down to what people prefer ... or what they've become accustomed to. I don't feel like the new team has really found its footing yet (even though I've loved 11 from the beginning, Rory's grown on me, and "Vincent and the Doctor" was the only episode that I could really connect with), but that's just my opinion.

Do you think that maybe a lot of the people who didn't like this season were 10 fans, and that may be the issue? They're still upset about him leaving? I really try to stay out of fandom, cuz fandom is crazy. I know there were a lot of people who were upset with Matt Smith being cast, but that was ages ago when I saw that.

First, I am sorry these comments are so atrocious-looking. I am getting a new theme, really.

Well, yeah, a lot were 10 fans, and a lot of people are teenagers and prefers Rusty's OTP, melodramatic writing (I've frequeuently heard people say that "there's not enough emotion" in this season, esp. the ending. which is WHAT. Are they stupid? I don't understand where that came from.) But maybe I'd prefer it if they just admitted they don't think it's the same since Tennant left, and stopped CLOGGING UP THE FORUMS WITH NONSENSICAL WHINING. Like "Gillam can't act and only has one facial expression" *eh, http://stopvoleuse.tumblr.com/post/675391362/the-one-facial-expression-of-karen-gillan-a * or "Amy doesn't strike me as someone who would like art because she wears short skirts" (there's been very little vitriol against Smith, because it's so hard to deny that he's brilliant.) But the people who complain about the writing bother me the most. What the actual fuck, this season had no Fear Her, no Love and Monsters, no Daleks in Manhattan. There was no cringe, and even if I personally didn't like the Angels double ep, it wasn't bad. And, finally, people who vomit stupid all over fandom because they don't like when the writers or actors change should stay away from Who, because considering the show it's a stupid stance.

I really wish that I could've connected more with this season, but I didn't. And even if I didn't really care for Amy, to suggest that there's any correlation between liking art, and the length of her skirt is just idiotic. Also ... Rory is love (both versions of him).
